The first time I heard Joe Jackson I was pretty much 100% positive it was Elvis Costello. I’m sure both dudes bit each other pretty bad, coming from the same new wave scene at the same time in the same general place, but didn’t everyone do that? Dude wore a lot of hats and traversed a lot of different musical territory, but Look Sharp is an excellent LP you can find in most dollar bins.
