The Feelies
I went on a The Feelies kick about a month ago and this later track off Time For A Witness ended up on repeat for a good chunk of time. The New Jersey based four-(and sometimes five)-some started in the mid-70’s and honed their jangle-pop over the next two decades, spreading their influence from early indierock-dom to R.E.M. Of course eveyone’s going point to their early stuff on Stiff and Rough Trade as the “must own” part of their catalog, but I’m glad I didn’t pass up this last-gasp from 1991.

Hi Mark
Thank you so much for posting this track from Time For A Witness. I loved this album! I have the cassette [somewhere!] but no working cassette player. I haven’t heard it since 1995!
I had just started living in Paris when it was released and heard ‘Decide’ on Oui-FM, the local alternative station. I couldn’t yet understand the hip French the DJ was using and could only assume that the VU had re-formed!
Is there any chance you could post ‘Decide’ for me? [And any other tracks, like 'For Now' and 'Doin It Again']
Mike
