Hay Maze
Wednesday, October 24th, 2007

A couple of years ago on my birthday, my friends took me to a hay maze near Half Moon Bay. It was fun and I got lost for a really long time. In fact, I think I had to cheat and jump over to get out. Since it worked out so well the first time, I decided that it would be a good idea to try it with masks on, at night. I still got lost and I still had to cheat. Ah, well.. as long as I can drink whiskey and run around, I’m just fine. The hay maze (which was Chris’s birthday party) was followed up by an almost carnival on the side of 280 and then ending at Serra Bowl, where countless pitchers of gross tap High Life were consumed. There was karaoke as well and while I can’t remember all of it, I remember that Chris and Andreas did a duet of ‘Total Eclipse of the Heart’ which culminated with everyone in front of the stage dancing and freaking out. The best part is that the night made me buy my Halloween costume early and I got to try it out on people. Wait until you see my costume this year. It will put all my other costumes to shame (which if you know me, means that it’s some sort of cheap mask worn with a hoodie).
EDIT: I guess I made it sound like it it was my birthday.. it wasn’t. That’s next month, sorry. I guess I shouldn’t write blogs at five in the morning.
