Treasure Island

Sorry, I have been taking a bunch of photos but I can’t post them here because that would ruin the surprise. You’ll see them in zine form soon I promise. Anyways, I went out to Treasure Island to see what fun if any could be had there. Er, so the verdict is that it wasn’t so awesome, but there were some really cool abandoned houses on the Yerba Buena side (i.e. the other side). I think I might see about renting one or two for a night. That could work, but would anyone come out there to hangout? Might be kind of creepy. Oh also, when we got to the top of the hill with the radio tower, we found about 20 cats just hanging out. It seems as though people leave food there so they just congregate and lounge up there. It was actually really eerie even in the daytime. No people, just cats.. who weren’t even scared of us. I kept expecting them to chew threw my brake line or something.
..And finally, I submitted work to the SF Weekly a while back for their annual Masterminds contest. They picked four people to win a bunch of money and it turns out that I was one of them. How cool is that? Hilary Pecis also won which was really cool since we had been drinking at the same table for like five hours waiting for them to announce the winners. I’m thinking of paying off my credit card bills (largely made up of photo paper and film), but I’m also thinking of getting a hotel room and throwing a party. Hmmm… I dunno.
