Barn Show
Went out to Winters, California to spend the night and see The Sarees, Little Wings and Karl Blau play a show in a barn. It took place on a working farm that usually partners with The Center for Land-Based Learning which teaches high school kids about farming and agriculture (I wish they took people my age). After we set up our camp and before they show, they served dinner to the 150 or so people that were there and the food blew me away. They had two goats donated from Niman Ranch for goat tacos, vegan tamales, and a spread of other delicious items all spread out for us to pile up. I can’t remember the end of the night really, but I know the following things; Little Wings is hilarious and may have only finished one song in it’s entirety, Karl Blau played for like 2 hours pretty much all on his own and then started a dance party that went till 2am, and finally don’t shoot your bb gun at your friends.
