Headlands

Sort of bummed on these photos.. I got another box of free film that was expired just like last time and for some reason I thought it would work out. I don’t know why I keep using this expired film.. it’s just so hard to throw it all out. Anyways, I had to mess with these a lot to clear up the noise. Oh well..
Went out to the Marin Headlands to check out another Ribbons event. There were artists all throughout the hillsides doing different installations which were marked on a map we picked up on the beach. Or.. there were supposed to be anyways. We didn’t end up seeing that much, but perhaps that was because we showed up too early. It didn’t really matter though, since I mostly just went out there to see Pale Hoarse play in one of the tunnels. As soon as the guided tour exited the tunnel, Chris Duncan and some other folks unrolled a huge diamond on the hillside to let everyone on the beach know that they were about to play. The show was amazing.. wish I had stayed to see the band who played on the beach afterward. I was counting on Mariah to come through with better photos this time around but it turns out that here film was bad as well. Maybe it means we shouldn’t be trying to freeze time so much and just let things happen.
